Every young person has expressed the willingness to welcome all the visitors who are interested to know more about the Albanian nature and culture. The people, the history, the everyday reality, food, fresh air and nature are some of the things that can be discovered in this wonderful place. All the young
people speak Italian, which makes the communication and the process
of getting information much easier. They are a group of young
people that are close to each other, and together they want to
accomplish their goals, and for this reason they will have a strong
collaboration with each other as a team. |
Bathore
has a nice little artificial lake and for young people of Bathore
this lake is considered as their beach. But they go bathing in
another lake that is located between two hills, away from a noisy
and crowded town. They go around the shore of the lake admiring
the picturesque views around them, meditating about their future
to be built here, in Albania, and at the same time, refusing the
idea of leaving the country to change the life. 
The
young people of Bathore want to stay here in Albania to build
their future thanks to their abilities and studies which they
want to pursue. But is not that simple; their families cannot
support them financially for their studies, nor can their little
jobs help them to support themselves, because of the low salaries
they receive. All these young people are part of our Youth Center
"Horizont", which they have created two years ago.
Each
of them, have decided to have a clear objective or aim that is
related with their formation, the school or university that each
one should pursue to fulfill these goals. All this project is
coordinated here in Albania by their leader Erjona Shahini (student
at Tirana University and a co-worker with different NGO).
